Goodbye Baton Rouge, Hello Houston.

Gosh, where do I even begin? I’ve been holding in all this information to share with you guys at the right momemt. I’ve typed up the draft over and over again. So, here it goes….

I will be moving to Houston in December to begin the next chapter of my life. WOW. That feels so good to get out into the world. I am so beyond excited to begin this next step in my life.

Next thing on the agenda: not only am I moving to Houston, but I have also accepted an internship with Houstonia Magazine while I’m there… YES!! You read that entirely correct!!!

This whole experience is so terrifying, but the good kind of terrifying. I have no idea what is going to happen, but I know this is definitely where I’m supposed to be going.

I have never felt more blessed than I do now. 2018 has been so full of happiness. I have  visited places I never thought I would, published articles, graduated college, and now I am moving to a new city with a new job doing what I love most. Baton Rouge has been my home for far too long. I have grown so much as a person and a writer in this city.

As far as grad school goes, I’ll get all the decisions back between February and March, then I’ll decide where I’ll be moving next. (Nyc? Chicago? Let’s keep our fingers crossed!)

I can’t begin to describe how thankful I am for everyone that supports my writing and encourages me on a daily basis to follow my dreams. It’s because of you guys that I have built up the courage to share my words, to share my life, and to push my limits each and everyday.

I’m so excited to be able to bring all of you along with me on this journey. More blogs. More instagram posts. Tons more writing. So so so much to share.

xoxo. ❤
